Egyptian-grown cotton is known for its ability to create extra-long staples or fibres. These fibres can produce thread or yarns that are thinner than other kinds of cotton because of their longer length. This yarn is smaller in diameter yet stronger than other kinds of cotton.
Fabrics made of Egyptian Cotton are softer, finer and last longer than any other cotton so are worth putting the slight extra bit of money into. Since finer yarns mean a higher thread count, the weave of the fabric is significantly stronger and lasts a lot longer than regular cotton.
Our fabrics are treated to be easy to iron.
After washing your shirt, you put it on a hanger and once it dries, you will find it in perfect shape and condition. You can wear it right after.
However, if you are a serial ironer, you can of course make it even better and immaculate by ironing it.
We only use Mother-of-pearl buttons of the highest quality.
Mother-of-pearl is the iridescent inside lining of a mollusk shell. It is most commonly found in three types of mollusks-pearl oysters, freshwater mussels, and abalone. To protect the inside of their shells from parasites and foreign irritants, the mollusk coats it with a nacre—an organic substance that gives mother-of-pearl its iridescent effect and distinct beauty. This multicolored iridescence is caused by the way light reflects on the layers of nacre on the shell.
Mother of Pearl buttons is a classic detail favored by high-quality shirt makers because they have a little more depth of color than plastic resin buttons do. They do not dissolve after repeated washes as resin plastic buttons can.
The price you see is the price you pay and we promise you no taxes and import duties, no delivery costs, no hidden charges. If for some reason, the shirt does not suit you, please send it back to us and we will be happy to either refund it or exchange it for free. Please send it back to us in a saleable condition.
